七夕节国外的叫法有好几种，有按照西方情人节的叫法翻译的，也有按照具体的日期翻译的，甚至还有直接音译的。
具体主要有以下几种叫法：
1、Chinese Valentine’s Day，
西方情人节叫做Valentine’s Day，为公历2月14日，而七夕节被称为中国的情人节，所以翻译上也就按照西方情人节的名称来命名了。
2、Double Seventh Day或者the Seventh Day of the Seventh Lunar Month，
七夕的日期是每年的农历七月初七，两个七的组合或者是七月七日的翻译就是这个叫法的来源。
3、Magpie Festival
